Intellectual Autobiography
I have always been involved in many different things, from piano to singing, to even track. I never felt I wanted to be good at just one thing, and my education was no different. I wanted to be involved in as many things as I could possibly do. I started off as a pharmacology major but I found that there was no versatility and even less human interaction with that career. I wanted to be the person that could be able to understand multiple issues and solve them without hesitation. I changed my major to business management but then came across a multitude of classes that had nothing to do with my interests. I finally found an advisor in IDS who explained the importance of learning multiple areas and being able to apply that to my career. I am studying people's behavior, while also learning about public affairs and commerce. I was then able to graduate with my bachelor's and enter into the MSM-Integrated Business degree for my master's program. Integrated Business is a degree which gives students a well-rounded approach to careers that need people to be able to know multitudes of things rather than solely focused employees who know a lot about one subject. My Master's and Bachelors's programs have given me the tools to be successful in H.R. because it is a job with many areas that I need to be proficient in.
